Store. 2001. 3000+ Discarded books. Installation for ‘Transition Arts Festival’, Margate, Kent.

‘Store’, an installation of thousands of  used and discarded books, packed into the first meter of space in a disused antique shop in Margates old town area. The space was filled from floor to ceiling, whilst gaps between the mass and the side walls enabled viewers to see the extent of the books capacity in the room.

Installed for ‘Transition Contemporary Arts Festival’, Margate, Kent, 2001.
